Paul Ewing, N6PSE and Kenneth Opskar LA7GIA issued a statement that the planned expedition to Bouvet Island was cancelled. The reason is that the negotiated ship Bravehart has been sold. The new owner does not count on the expedition and returned the deposit. For members of the expedition 3Y0J it is unpleasant news that means the end of hope. All contributions from radio amateurs will be returned in the following weeks in the manner in which they were received.
