Championships of the Slovak Republic on very short waves (VHF) in the period 2005/2006 represent the culmination of the year-long efforts of Slovak radio amateurs in the field of VHF operation. The competition consisted of four races, while the results of individual rounds were included in the overall rating. The aim of the championships is to support the activity of stations on VHF bands, improve the technical level of equipment and promote modern methods of radio communication.
In the category of one operator (SINGLE OP) traditionally strong stations took the first places - he became the winner OM1DK, who achieved the highest number of points and a hundred percent success rate. He took second place OM2VL, known for his consistent performance in multiple races. He placed third OM3TZQ, which confirmed stable results throughout the season.
In the category multiple operators (MULTI OP) dominated the club OM3KII, which confirmed its technical and operational superiority with a significant lead. The second place belonged to the team OM0C, followed by the station OM3W, which was placed in a close second.
The results once again showed the high level of Slovak radio amateurs and their willingness to devote time, effort and technical knowledge to the development of VHF operation, which remains an important part of amateur broadcasting.
