The Holice Cup is organized by the radio club OK1KHL and the city of Holice every last Saturday in April (!!!For 2004 it is Saturday, April 24!!!) from 04:00 to 05:30 UTC on the 80 m band in the sections 3520-3560 kHz and 3700-3770 kHz. Operation 2× CW and 2× SSB. Challenge for telegraphy: TEST HP, SSB by operation HOLINESS CUP CHALLENGE. The code is RS or RST and the district coat of arms according to the territorial-administrative division valid until the end of 2001.
Categories: Mix (CW and SSB operation), CW, SSB and RP. Furthermore, a separate list of stations will be evaluated in the MIX, CW and SSB categories QRP (up to 5 W power).
The competition is only for individuals OK and OM, and if a club station participates, it must be operated by only one operator.
Scoring: 1 point for each connection, it is possible to work with each station only once during the competition.
Multipliers: district characters. The result is determined by simply multiplying the points and multipliers. In case of equality, the number of connections in the first 20 (or 40, 60) minutes is decisive.
Each participant who sends a diary for evaluation will receive a diploma and a list of results. The station in first place in the category will receive a small "Holický cup 2004", the station with the highest number of points will receive a traveling "Holický cup" for a period of one year. If the station becomes the absolute winner three years in a row, it gets a traveling cup for personal ownership.
