Podmienky 2022 CQ World-Wide WPX contest-u
SSB: March 26-27, 2022 CW: May 28-29, 2022 Start: 0000 UTC Saturday End: 2359 UTC Sunday
I. Cíl CQ WXP contest-u
For stations all over the world to establish as many connections as possible with as many prefixes as possible during the race.
48 hours. Stations with one operator can work for a maximum of 36 hours out of a total of 48 hours - breaks must be at least 60 minutes during which no connection is entered. Stations with multiple operators can work a full 48 hours.
III. Bands
Bands 1.8, 3.5, 7, 14, 21, and 28 MHz can be used. Valid band plans must be followed.
IV. Exchange
RS(T) report and connection serial number starting from 001 on first connection. Note: stations in the Multi-Two, Multi-Unlimited and Multi-Distributed categories number connections on each band separately (from 001).

V. Result
A. The result: We get the final result by multiplying the number of points per QSO by the number of different prefixes (once per race, regardless of bands).
B. Points for QSOs: A connection with one and the same station is valid once on each band: 1. Three (3) points on the 28, 21, and 14 MHz bands and six (6) points on 7, 3.5, and 1.8 MHz are counted for connection between stations on different continents. 2. Connections between stations on the same continent outside one's own country count for one (1) point on bands 28, 21, and 14 MHz and two (2) points on 7, 3.5, and 1.8 MHz. Exception: only for stations in North America — for connections between stations in North America (both stations must be on the continent of North America) two (2) points on bands 28, 21, and 14 MHz and four (4) points at 7, 3.5, and 1.8 MHz. 3. Connections between stations of one's own country are counted as one (1) point regardless of bands.
C. Multipliers: The multiplier is the number of valid prefixes with which connections were established, regardless of bands (one prefix is valid only once). 1. PREFIX is a character combination of letters and numbers of the first part of the call sign. Examples: N8, W8, WD8, HG1, HG19, KC2, OE2, OE25, LY1000, etc. Any different combination applies as a separate prefix. A station that works from another DXCC the country than has its original mark must use the mark for transitional broadcasting as portable. The portable prefix must be with the authorized form for the given country. In the case of such traffic, the prefix is the designation of the country of the portable traffic. Example: N8BJQ operating from Wake Island will have the call sign N8BJQ/KH9 or N8BJQ/NH9. KH6XXX working from Ohio must use an authorized prefix for district 8 (/W8, /AD8, etc.). Portable designations without a digit will be taken as a prefix with the digit zero (Ø) after the second letter of the prefix. Example: PA/N8BJQ will be taken as prefix PAØ. Also, all call signs without a number will be taken with the number zero in the prefix after the first two letters of the call sign. Example: XEFTJW will be valid as XEØ. Maritime mobile, mobile, /A, /E, /J, /P, or other identifiers will not be accepted as a prefix. 2. It is recommended to participate with special occasional premiums, but these must be officially issued by the licensing authority of the given country.

VI. Category
The use of a DX cluster or similar system is allowed for all categories except the Single Operator Classic Overlay category. A. Category one operator: One person (operator) performs all operational and recording activities. There is no limit to the number of band changes. Only one broadcast signal is allowed at the same time. 1. Single operator: HP – High power (all bands or single band): Total output power must not exceed 1500 watts. 2. Single operator: LP - Low power (all bands or single band): Total output power must not exceed 100 watts. 3. QRP (all bands or one band): The total output power must not exceed 5 watts. B. One Overlay category operator: Any operator in the single operator category who meets the given conditions can participate in one of the OVERLAY categories outside of his category by adding a line in the file Cabrillo CATEGORYOVERLAY in the file header. The results of the Overlay categories will be listed separately for the categories all bands, HP, LP and QRP. 1. tribander/Single Element (TB-WIRES): During the entire race, the station can use only one tribander type antenna, which has one feeder for the 10, 15, and 20 meter bands and a single element antenna for the 40, 80, and 160 meter bands. Special antennas for reception are not allowed in this category. 2. Rookie (ROOKIE): The operator in this category must be a radio amateur with a license no more than 3 years old. The license issue date must be stated in the SOAPBOX line in the Cabrillo journal header. A station that has won any plaque in previous CQ competitions can no longer enter this category. 3. Classic Operator (CLASSIC): An operator in this category can use only one device (TCVR) and can only work 24 hours out of a total of 48 hours – breaks must be at least 60 minutes, during which no connection can be established. If the diary contains more than 24 hours of operation, then the first 24 hours are counted. The use of assistance (dx cluster) is not allowed, special receiving antennas are also not allowed. 4. Youth (YOUTH): The operator must be no more than 25 years old at the time of the race. Mark the year of birth in the SOPABOX column. C. Multi-operator category (all bands only): For stations with more than one operator. You can choose a category according to the number of transmitted signals or stations. 1. One transmitter (MULTI-ONE): Only one transmission signal is allowed at the same time. It is allowed to change the band a maximum of 10 times in one hour (between 00 and 59 minutes). Example: changing from 20m to 40m band and back is considered as two band changes. Connections are numbered in ascending order regardless of band. a. HP – great power. The total output power must not exceed 1500 watts. b. LP - small performance. The total output power must not exceed 100 watts. 2. 3. Multiple transmitters (MULTI-UNLIMITED): A maximum of 6 simultaneous signals are allowed, one on each band. maximum of six transmitted signals, one per band, at any one time. Connections on each band are numbered separately. The total output power of an individual transmitter must not exceed 1500 watts. 4. More transmitters more QTH (MULTI-DISTRIBUTED): A maximum of six broadcast signals are allowed at the same time, one on each band, from stations in different QTHs. All stations (transmitters, receivers, antennas, amplifiers) must be located in the same DXCC country and CQ zone, including possibly remote-controlled stations. Connections on each band are numbered separately. The total output power of an individual transmitter must not exceed 1500 watts. The Cabrillo log header must contain the lines: CATEGORY-OPERATOR: MULTI-OP, CATEGORYSTATION: DISTRIBUTED. Rules X.E, X.F and X.G do not apply to this category. D. checklog: Journal for review. It is not scored and will not be public.

VIII. Club competition
The total result for the club is given by the sum of the results of the individual stations of the given club. There are two club categories: A. USA clubs: Participation is limited to club members within 250 miles of the center of the club headquarters. B. DX Clubs: Participation is limited to club members either in the DXCC country of the club headquarters OR within 400 km of the club headquarters. C. General Club Rules: National organizations (eg JARL, REF or DARC) cannot act as a club. Stations with one operator can only join one club. Stations with multiple operators can apply to multiple clubs according to the percentage representation of individual operators. The name of the club must be stated in the diary, and in the case of multiple operators and multiple clubs, the percentage of participation. In order to include the club in the results list, the participation of at least 4 stations is required, diaries for control are not counted.
