CQ WW contest CW 2020

The last one of this year is slowly approaching CQ WW Contest, a to CW časť. Tá sa bude konať 28.-29.novembra 2020 so začiatkom o 00:00:00 UTC v sobotu a koncom o 23:59:59 UTC v nedeľu. Cieľom pre rádioamatérov je nadviazať čo najväčší počet spojení v čo najväčšom počte CQ zón a zemí.

Tu sú podmienky CQ WW contest CW 2020

GOAL

For radio amateurs worldwide: make as many connections as possible in as many CQ zones and countries as possible.

BAND

Len šesť povolených pásiem: 1.8 MHz, 3.5 MHz, 7 MHz, 14 MHz, 21 MHz and 28 MHz.
Adherence to the official band plans is prísne vyžadované.

CONTEST CODE

• SSB: RS + CQ zone (eg 59 05)

• CW: RST + CQ zone (e.g. 599 05)

SCORING

A. Final score
Resulting score = total number of points for QSO × (súčet CQ zón + krajín).

Example:
1000 points × (30 zones + 70 countries) = 100 000 konečné skóre

B. Points for QSOs
S každou stanicou je možné nadviazať only one valid connection on each band.
Points are awarded according to the opponent's position:

1. Spojenie medzi different continents = 3 body

2. Spojenie on the same continent, ale v rôznych krajinách = 1 bod

   • Výnimka: North America (various countries) = 2 body

3. Spojenie within one country = 0 bodov,
   ale platí ako násobič (zone or country).

C. Multipliers

1. CQ zóny: each zone on each band = 1 násobič

2. Krajiny: every country on every band = 1 násobič

   • Countries are counted according to DXCC + WAE + IG9/IH9

   • Stanice /MM (mobile at sea) are counted iba ako násobič zóny.

COMPETITIVE CATEGORIES

A. Single Operator category

One person (operator) performs all activities, including operation and log keeping.
It is allowed at any time iba jeden vysielaný signál.
There are no restrictions on changing the band or on the time of operation.

1. Single Operator – without assistance (Assistance prohibited):

• High Power (all bands or one band): max. výkon 1500 W

• Low Power (all bands or one band): max. výkon 100 W

• QRP (all bands or one band): max. výkon 5 W

2. Single Operator Assisted - with enabled assistance:
The operator can use help (e.g. DX cluster, skimmer, Reverse Beacon Network).

• High Power Assisted: max. power 1500 W

• Low Power Assisted: max. power 100 W

• QRP Assisted: max. power 5 W

B. Category overlay (individual operator)

Each participant of the Single Operator category can add one of the Overlay categories to the header Cabrillo denníka.
The results of Overlay categories are published separately.

1. Classic Operator (Overlay CLASSIC):

   • It is only allowed jedno rádio, žiadna pomoc (Assistance).

   • Max. 24 hours of operation z 48 hodín contestu.

   • There must be breaks min. 60 minút, počas ktorých nie je nadviazané žiadne QSO.

   • If the log is longer than 24 hours, they are only counted prvé 24 hodiny.

   • Simultaneous reception during transmission is prohibited.

2. Rookie (Overlay ROOKIE):

   • Operátor dostal first amateur license no more than 3 years pred contestom.

   • In the journal, the date of obtaining the license must be entered in the SOAPBOX field.

   • Previous winners of this category cannot win the prize again.

C. Multi-Operator - more operators (all bands only)

Any number of operators, pomoc povolená.
It is enabled on one band len jeden vysielaný signál súčasne.

1. Multi-Single (one transmitter):

   • Pravidlo 10 minút: on one band in each 10-minute interval there can be only jeden hlavný signál (RUN).

   • The second signal (MULT) is enabled iba ak je na inom pásme a nadviaže nový násobič.

   • RUN a MULT sa riadia independent 10-minute rules.

   Performance limits:

   • High Power - max. power 1500 W

   • Low Power - max. power 100 W

2. Multi-Two (two transmitters):

   • Max. two signals on two different bands.

   • Each station can do max. 8 zmien pásma za hodinu (00–59 minút).

   • A MULT station must not call CQ, only answer.

   • Max. power of 1500 W on each band.

3. Multi-Multi (multiple transmitters):

   • All of them can be active at the same time 6 pásiem.

   • On each band only jeden signál.

   • Max. power of 1500 W on each band.

D. Checklog

Denník je zaslaný iba na kontrolu – the station will not be listed in the results.

DIPLOMAS AND PLAQUES

1. Diplomas:

   • Elektronické diplomy sú k dispozícii na stiahnutie for all participants who send a journal.

2. Plaques:

   • Plakety sa udeľujú za best performances in categories.

   • Current list of plaques and sponsors: cqww.com/plaques.htm

   • One station can receive iba jednu plaketu.

CLUB COMPETITION

Club score = sum of all club members' scores.

There are 2 types of clubs:

• USA kluby: members must be in the circle 250 míľ od stredu klubovej oblasti.

• DX kluby: members must be in one DXCC country or to 400 km od centra klubu.

Rules:

1. National Organizations (ARRL, DARC, JARL) nie sú oprávnené.

2. An individual operator can belong len do jedného klubu.

3. Multi-Op stations can split the score between multiple clubs based on the number of members.

4. Minimálne 4 denníky they are necessary for the club to be in the results.

DEFINITIONS

1. Station location:
   All TX, RX and antennas must be in kruhu s priemerom 500 m.

2. Assisted:

   • Akýkoľvek zdroj poskytujúci call sign or multiplier information,
     e.g. DX cluster, CW Skimmer, RBN, online DX weby.

GENERAL RULES

1. Comply with the conditions of your category.

2. Každý denník = one call sign.

3. Do not exceed performance limits.

4. Self-spotting is prohibited.

5. Remote station allowed if all equipment is in one place.

6. Remote receivers outside the station are prohibited.

7. On one band at one moment len jeden signál.

8. The QSO must be established iba počas contestu.

9. No additional QSO corrections after the end.

10. Call signs must be presne zapísané.

11. ITU Reg.1: na 40m nad 7200 kHz SSB is not allowed.

12. ITU Reg.1: at 160m pod 1810 kHz nie je povolené.

DIARIES

1. Povinné je electronic sending of the diary.

2. Single-lane logs must also include other connections for inspection.

3. Standard format: Cabrillo

4. Upload via the web: cqww.com/logcheck

5. Confirmation of receipt comes by e-mail.

6. Possibility to download the diary from the assessment to 30 dní po uzávierke.

DEADLINE - CLOSING

• Logs must be sent do 5 dní po skončení contestu.

• Late diaries may be published but nebudú hodnotené.

RULING AND DISQUALIFICATION

1. The CQ WW DX committee decides all disputes.

2. Unsportsmanlike conduct zahŕňa napr.:

   • Realization of QSO outside the amateur band (telephone, chat, VoIP).

   • Broadcasting outside the permitted frequencies.

   • Deliberate incorrect entries.

   • Excessively wide signal or harmonics.

3. In case of a serious violation → diskvalifikácia.

4. Disqualified logs will be listed in the results.

STATEMENT OF THE PARTICIPANT

By sending the diary, the participant confirms that:

1. Prečítal a rozumie pravidlám and will abide by them.

2. Prevádzkuje stanicu in accordance with the license and laws of your country.

3. Agrees to the publication of the contents of the diary.

4. Berie na vedomie, že committee decisions are final.
