The Irish amateur radio organization celebrates its seventy-fifth anniversary this year. On this occasion, a group of EI operators prepares the deadline from 16 to 25 March 2007 expedition to Swaziland, 3DA0. The expedition will be most active on St. Patrick's Day - March 17, and at the end of the expedition will participate CQ WPX SSB contestu. Keďže cieľom nie sú tisícky spojení, ale umožniť získať Swaziland aj na netradičných pásmach a módoch, zvažuje sa prevádzka na 6m a EME.
Equipment for the expedition is provided by Daniel ZS6JR, who on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24, he will be doing tests under the brand name 3DA0WW from 18UT to 14.208 MHz, from 19UT to 7.058 MHz and after 20UT to 1.848 MHz (if 160m is not closed, it will retune to 3.788 MHz at 20.15UT).
Swaziland
Imagine a country where traditional culture meets stunning nature and every day offers unexpected adventures - this is Swaziland, the pearl of southern Africa that still remains hidden from mass tourism. Although many know this country only from geographical maps, Swaziland is a fascinating destination where history and modern life intertwine in a unique way.
The country is home to a royal family that still maintains traditional ceremonies and customs that literally take you to another world. Imagine being able to witness traditional dances, celebrations and festivals that have been going on for hundreds of years - an experience you can hardly find anywhere else in the world.
In addition to culture, Swaziland also attracts incredible nature. From densely forested hills to picturesque national parks teeming with wildlife, every step will draw you into a land full of mystery and surprise. A safari in Swaziland is not just a trip, it is an intense experience where you can meet lions, elephants or rhinos without the crowds of tourists you know from other African countries.
And the best part is that Swaziland remains relatively undiscovered, which means an authentic experience without the tourist masses. If you're looking for a place that will open your eyes, thrill you and showcase the beauty of unspoiled Africa, Swaziland is just the secret gem you need to visit before the world starts talking about it.
