In the evening I gave a challenge on the 80m band. DL8ALF called me in a breathless voice. It was strange to me, the timbre of the voice, the name Alf from Lalendorf. We described the broadcasting equipment, the antennas, said something about the weather and the exchange QSL. Nemecký priateľ ma upozornil na jeho internetovú stránku.

Po ukončení spojenia som si pozrel Alfovu page and it was finally clear to me. Alf can only move his head, neck and shoulders. He has a damaged spinal cord, paralyzed limbs, yet he did not give up and took the necessary tests to be able to broadcast on all radio amateur bands. His father and friends helped him build the antennas, sort out the operation of the broadcasting equipment. Alf signs all QSLs with his mouth, adding with humor that they are only three letters!
