The second Saturday of October 13.10.2012 was set aside in the amateur radio calendar for a traditional meeting in the pension Drozdovo near Nová Bani. We have been going there since eight o'clock, mainly by car, as it is on a hill and about 3 km from the nearest village. In a beautiful environment dedicated to hiking and skiing, the organizers, led by two Karols OM5KP and OM5NS, prepared traditional events.
The amateur radio exchange was not very extensive either QSL tickets were not collected or distributed. Dušan OM2ADP collected souls for the OM Call Book, Jaro OM1II met with ARES members. We talked and exchanged experiences with friends from the band, whom we know only by voice or by errors when transmitting with a manual telegraph key. We tasted Ham goulash or dumplings and even wine or burčiak.
At the end, there was a short hike to the Veľký Inovec hill, where Jozef/ OM6TC broadcasted within SOTA activities. Several people took photos. I am posting photos. which were sent to me by Karol/ OM5KP and Zoli/ OM7CB. You can find out how many of us gathered there if you count your heads in the joint photo in front of the cottage.
