Saturday, October 8, was characterized by the passage of a cold front through the territory of Slovakia. The day before, it rained properly in many places. The weather left some precipitation for this day as well. Already from 4.00 LSEC directed many cars from the greater part of Slovakia to Nova Bana and later under Veľký Inovec hill to the Drozdovo cottage, where a traditional meeting of radio amateurs took place.
Around 9:00 a.m. CET, the cottage was busy. A presentation of the participants was held and then a round of discussions between the participants on various topics began. Ten participants took part in the exchange of parts and equipment. Miro from AWAS Nitra also came. Dušan/ OM2ADP supplemented the OM Call Book. The organizers of the meeting headed by Karol/OM5KP and Karol No. 2 OM5NS skillfully conducted everything. According to the attendance list, 123 radio amateurs came. Several of them, including Karol OM5KP himself, took pictures.
