Ing. Juraj Michňa, vice-chairman of the Slovak Telecommunications Office (TÚ SR) thanked Peter OM0CD and Štefan OM3JW in a letter on behalf of the Slovak Telecommunications Authority (TÚ SR) for their work in the examination committee for the verification of special professional competence to operate selected radio equipment. Among other things, the vice-president of the Slovak Technical University stated that the Slovak Technical University greatly appreciates that both appointees devoted their time and effort to work in the examination committee.
On December 20, 2005, at a meeting with civic associations and journalists, the TÚ SR awarded the Slovak Association of Radio Amateurs an honorary award for long-term cooperation with the office and popularization of the amateur service. TÚ SR publicly (in a press release) thanked for cooperation, e.g. also the Slovak CB radio club and other associations.
