Radioklub OK1KHL Holice invites you to the traditional 16th international meeting of radio amateurs, which will take place on August 26-27, 2005 in the vicinity of the cultural center and adjacent buildings. The program will include a popular flea market, sales expositions of radio engineering companies, sale of technical literature, presentation of prizes and diplomas and an interesting accompanying program.
Some basic information about the meeting:

Místo: Holice in Bohemia, Pardubice region, Czech Republic, is located on road number 35, E 442, 8 km from Hradec Králové in the direction of Brno.

Accommodation: Accommodation is not provided by the organizer and must be ordered individually in accommodation facilities in Holice and its surroundings.
Catering: In Holické restaurants in the vicinity of the meeting area, refreshments will be provided in the meeting area.
Brief program of the meeting:
- Professional lectures in clubhouses and in the large hall of the cultural center
- Exhibition - Samuel Morse - pioneer of digital operation
- exhibition of Soviet military connecting equipment used by the Czechoslovak People's Army (KD in clubhouse no. 8)
- Ceremonial presentation of prizes, diplomas and cups for amateur radio activities and competitions.
- In clubhouse No. 7 there will be:
– internet cafe with the possibility of connecting your own laptop,
– the possibility of operation Packet RADIO
– example of receiving data from NOAA satellites
– demonstration of operation APRS
– demonstration of METEOSAT operation - on Friday evening, a traditional bonfire in the recreation center Radost Horní Jelení. Arrival map.
- amateur radio sales exhibition in the sports hall and in the school
- traditional "flea market" in the falconry and on the square next to the cultural center
- the possibility of visiting the museum of Holick native Dr. E. Pigeon - African traveler.
- Dětský QRP radio club OK5PQK will be in the exhibition, located behind the museum next to KD:
– operate QRP radio broadcasts,
– demonstrate technical innovations,
- give away electronic components, devices and literature to children and youth,
leaders of children's groups and clubs, to inform about the TALENT project,
– sell new and old OK QRP INFO numbers, chat with friends. - Example of receiving image data from Meteosat 8:
– via "EUMETSAT DVB Service". Here, visitors will see what our Earth looks like from the Meteosat 8 satellite, learn how it is possible to practically and very easily receive and process weather images from this new generation of weather satellites of the European organization Eumetsat and not only from them.
