Shortwave Operating Assets, or KVPA, is a race with a long tradition. The plant was founded by Josef Seidl, OK1TJ already in 1990. The intention was to organize a regular monthly meeting (not only) of SCR members on the band, etc., the name was determined as KVPA = Krátko Vlný Provozní Aktiv. Josef was also the first evaluator. From 1991, the evaluation was carried out by Karel, OK1HCG, who took care of the race for 20 long years. This baton was taken over by Peter, OK2CQR. By 2021, KVPA, Shortwave operational asset, enters with new conditions.

| Scoring | Každé platné spojenie sa započítava jedným bodom. Za platné spojenie sa považuje len to, ktoré je v nastavenom časovom okamihu správne zaznamenané pomocou volacích značiek v OBOCH station diaries with a tolerance of +/- 1 minute. If a station does not send a log, the connection is recognized only if this mark appears in the logs of other stations minimálne 3x. |

| Diaries | Denníky vo formáte Cabrillo je potrebné nahrať cez web interface within 7 days at the latest. Ak sa vám nepodarí log nahrať, môžete ho poslať e-mailom na adresu petr@ok2cqr.com. Nie je potrebné uvádzať počet bodov, vyhodnocovací program to vypočíta za vás. Files in a format other than Cabrillo will be rejected. If you are recording QSOs on paper, you can enter them by hand in form on the web. |
A few tips for KVPA

If you are using a competition program, use the same configuration as for CQ WPX.

Always enter the time in UTC in the log.

New reports are not accepted, only logs in Cabrillo format; the evaluation program performs its own evaluation.
