Tomorrow November 17 in the morning, around 10:00 a.m., we expect the main the maximum of the Leonid meteor shower. In addition, one more secondary maximum is expected in the night from November 16 to 17 (around 01:20 CET).
Leonids prepared an unforgettable experience for radio amateurs in 1998. This year's ones will probably be weaker, but Leonids are still an opportunity to get new squares on VHF.
The most suitable connection times for these directions are: SW - NE: 01 - 05 UT, E - W: 04 - 07 UT, SE - NW: 06 -09 UT and S - S: 23 - 03 and 07 - 11 UT.
