Lighthouses in the Slovak Republic / changes from 1.1. 2018 / (according to OM3ID)
The project is long-term. As part of the construction of the lighthouse network in Slovakia (4-5 stations are expected), beacons on frequencies from 50 MHz to 24 GHz will use call signs that, according to international recommendations, take into account: purpose, band and station. Some will also change frequency to avoid mutual interference. The problem is currently at the 2 m OM0MVA beacon, where an Austrian beacon has been placed on our long-term assigned frequency. When applying for 3cm, we could not use the usual beacon frequency (xxx888) because on a nearby freq. the Austrian lighthouse is already working.
I made 4 pieces of tag givers (each with 12 call signs), for item no. 4 points. The fifth is being worked on. The brand suffix takes into account the purpose, i.e. unmanned device, M – lighthouse. Second letter: the band in which it broadcasts e.g. H – 2m, L -23cm, U -70cm, E –13cm, S -9cm, X – 3cm, etc. As the 3rd letter of the suffix: location: there are the letters A - Bratislava and its surroundings. – functional. (OM3ID), B – Košice and surroundings (OM3WA) under construction, C - Zvolen and surroundings (OM7AC) partially functional, D - Žilina and surroundings. (OM6AR). Prospective consideration is also being given to E – Trenčín and its surroundings. Because the location is at a relatively high altitude, approx. 1000mn.m. it is assumed to use a small power max. 0.5 W. To speed up the implementation, I welcome the help of anyone who wants to participate in the construction. There are currently the most functional lighthouses in Bratislava. (in JN88NE).
