Low-frequency amplifiers with LM386 quite often appear in various receivers and transceivers of amateur construction due to the ease of connection. However, this IO is characterized by relatively large noise, which can be suppressed by choosing a suitable connection. Even ready-made amplifiers can be easily modified. This modification was reported by KA4UOS in Sprat-e #79, but first appeared in the Oklahoma QRP Group newsletter. Just add one resistor and capacitor according to the diagram. In finished devices, they can be added to the bottom of the circuit board.
