Frenštát pod Radhoštěm will once again become the scene of one of the most popular amateur radio events in the region. The traditional spring meeting, which is proud of more than 25 years of history, falls this year on the last Saturday in April - April 25, 2026.
The event is regularly hosted by the premises of the Central Industrial School of Electrotechnics (SPŠE) and enjoys high popularity. Hundreds of radio, electronics and broadcasting enthusiasts visit it every year, which makes it an ideal place to make new contacts and exchange experiences.
Organizátor podujatia, Franta OK2VFS, upozorňuje všetkých návštevníkov na dôležitú zmenu v logistike stretnutia. Bufet pri aule bol zrušený, preto tentoraz nebude možné zakúpiť si občerstvenie priamo v objekte školy. Návštevníkom odporúčame, aby si priniesli vlastné jedlo a pitie so sebou.
Program and radio exchange
The main attraction of the meeting is above all the rich radio exchange. It starts early in the morning, around 7:00 a.m., and lasts until 1:00 p.m. The organization of the exchange adapts operatively to the weather:

In case of favorable weather: Most vendors will set up their stands directly on the sidewalk in front of the school building.

In case of rain: The whole event moves indoors - to the long corridor and classrooms on the ground floor of the school.
