Memorial of Ondrej Oravac OM3AU 2011 once again confirmed its tradition as one of the most important VHF events. The unofficial results, which are published in order to minimize errors before the final list is issued, offer a detailed view of the stations' performances in various categories.

In the 144 MHz Single category, several foreign call signs appeared on the first rungs, which underlines the international character of the memorial. The winner was HG3A with an excellent score of 100,977 points and 271 valid connections. The station from the JN96EE locator used 800 W power and the YU7EF 4WL antenna, achieving the longest ODX with station IT9VDQ at a distance of 989 kilometers. Second place was taken by OK2GTI as the most successful representative of the domestic OK/OM/OL group. With a power of 700 W and 12 elements yagi he scored 79,435 points with the antenna. Third place goes to LZ2ZY, who made 122 connections and scored 44,233 points.

From the point of view of Slovak and Czech stations, the performances of OM0WR, OM0TT and OM5CC are very valuable, and they are firmly in the upper part of the table. OM0WR with 40529 points represents the highest ranked station from Slovakia in this category, while KN09WF recorded an impressive ODX with LZ1ZX/p at 785 km. A high standard was also demonstrated by OK1FC, OM0TT and OM5CC, who confirmed a strong domestic representation.

In addition to the winning HG3A, the group of foreign participants was dominated by operators from Ukraine, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Their participation significantly contributed to the attractiveness of the competition and showed a wide coverage of connections across Europe. The extreme distances reached by Ukrainian stations in particular, for example UY9VY with a connection of up to 1131 kilometers, are interesting.

In the 144 MHz Multi category, the differences between the two groups were even more pronounced. The best team from the OK/OM/OL group, OM3KGW, won with 60,580 points and beat strong competition from other countries. OK1KHI finished right behind him with 60,146 points. Among other countries, UW5Y got the most points, which showed an extraordinary average value for the connection of up to 486 points.

Unofficial results offer competitors a space to check and send comments so that the final version of the table reflects the actual performances as closely as possible.
