At the ongoing International Radiocommunication Conference 2015 in Geneva (WRC-15), it was decided on 18 November at the afternoon plenary that od 1. 1. 2017 bude krátky 15kHz úsek v pásme 60m pridelený celosvetovo aj zvyšným regiónom IARU. A to konkrétne medzi 5351.5 – 5366.5 kHz pri obmedzenom výkone 15 W ERP (regióny 1 a 3) a bude to podružná služba.
