The KV community is saddened to hear that the Graham Ridgeway M5AAV has left us forever. Graham was very selfless QSL manager for several well-known brands. Steve Telenius-Lowe 9M6DXX approached Tim M3SDE to see if he would be interested in taking over the agenda and continuing his work. Tim agreed and is currently handling the QSL for 9M6DXX and /P Steve, XU7DXX Steve, 9M6/G3OOK, 9M6XRO and /P John, 9M8Z, A25OOK, XU7XRO, V8FEO.
Steve attended last time CQ WPX contest-u ako 9M8Z, pričom do Európy prechádzali jeho signály najmä na 20m a výnimočne aj na 15m. Ako single operátor dosiahol 3100QSO, pričom s ním určite pracovalo viacero OK/OM staníc.
The M3SDE team is currently arranging the transport of QSL cards and logs from Graham's house. He also designed and has two new QSL tickets printed 9M8Z and 9M6XRO/ P from OC-133. The tickets are high quality (as is Tim's custom) printed by the ON5UR QSL Print Shop.
Na záver už len Tim hovorí, že mal tak rušný víkend, keď sa neskôr otvorili podmienky na 15m na Strednú a Južnú Ameriku pričom zalogoval VP2E Anguilla, V48M St Kitts & Nevis, 8P1A Barbados, HI3C Dominican Republic, VP2EFB Anguilla, V25V Antigua & Barbuda, 9Z4CT Trinidad & Tobago…. Na 10m však žiadne významnejšie otvorenie nezaznamenal.
