SQ7BCE's Amateur Radio Bazaar is undergoing a complete renovation
Marcin, SQ7BCE z Kieliec, spustil 1. júna 2026 novú verziu rádioamatérskeho bazára Giełda Krótkofalarska, ktorá bežala doteraz na adrese gielda.QRZ.pl. Nová verzia je dostupná na adrese test.QRZ.pl and until July 1, 2026, it runs in parallel with the old system. After this date, the old version will definitely end. All advertisements added to the new version will remain in the database even after the transition. The project is non-commercial and is maintained by the author as a private initiative for the Polish amateur radio community.
What the new version brings
Compared to the original version, the new Giełda brings several practical changes. The first and most visible is the introduction of HTTPS - a secure connection, which the old version did not have. The design is fully responsive for mobile devices and offers switching between dark and light themes (with the light theme visually resembling the original version). The size of the photos in the ads is significantly increased compared to the old version. An RSS feed has been added for tracking new ads. The form for adding an ad is fast and without the need for registration. The phone number in the ad is optional - the original obligation was canceled during the first day based on feedback from the community. New ads from the original old Giełda are automatically redirected to the new version.
Category structure
The ads are divided by type (Sale, Exchange, Purchase, Other) and placed in detailed categories covering the entire range of amateur radio equipment. Overview of the current categories of the bazaar:

Project presentation on YouTube
Marcin, SQ7BCE, introduced the new version of the bazaar in a YouTube video posted on June 1, 2026:
Community insights from the SP7PKI forum discussion
The discussion on the SP7PKI forum (sp7pki.iq24.pl) from 1–3 June 2026 brought several specific responses. SP7TBU praised the work briefly: “Lux robot Marcin.” SP2UKG particularly highlighted the increase in the size of the photos in the advertisements. SP9Z suggested adding a rule that would oblige sellers to place advertisements in the correct categories – in his experience, stands, pads and other unrelated items commonly appear in the transceiver category.
SP6GVU proposed verifying ads with a photo with a piece of paper containing the call sign, name and date - similar to how QRZ.COM works, where this system, according to him, significantly reduces fraud. SQ7BCE responded that in the Polish environment these are mostly local transactions within the country and if in doubt he recommends using OLX with the buyer protection package.
The issue of a mandatory phone number in advertisements has sparked a separate discussion. Racal (Warsaw) argued that publishing a phone number in an attractive advertisement generates a lot of calls at various hours, including frivolous ones, and proposed a return to a mandatory email with an optional phone number. SQ7BCE introduced the change on the same day: the phone number is optional from June 2, 2026.
SP4BF and SP6OK pointed out the absence of old advertisements – the databases of the old and new versions are not linked and sellers have to re-enter their active offers. SQ7BCE confirmed this and also announced that the old version remains available in parallel until July 1, 2026, while new advertisements from the original exchange are automatically redirected to the new version. SP6OK suggested adding sorting of advertisements by price.
