OL Párty is a traditional Czech amateur radio competition, which was created as a reminder of the era of youth stations with brands beginning with the prefix OL. In the past, these stations could be used by young radio amateurs between the ages of 15 and 19. The current OL Party is therefore not only a classic contest, but also an opportunity for a reunion of radio amateurs who have experienced this part of their radio amateur history.

The character of the plant remains mainly linked to classical telegraph operation on short waves. Historical years used the 160 and 80 m bands, i.e. frequency ranges in which a high-quality antenna, good reception capabilities and the ability to work with signals in conditions of a higher level of atmospheric and local interference are important. The shorter format of the race allows even stations that do not have the contest equipment of a large station to participate.
Results of OL Party 2026
The results and submitted reports of the year 2026 are published on the website of the organizer Pavel OK1DX. The scoreboard thus provides an interesting picture of how many former OL operators return to this tradition every year. In previous years, the results were supplemented with comments from the participants, which document the conditions on the bands and the technical experience of individual stations.
