As has become a tradition, the sixth amateur radio cycling expedition is taking place, this year on July 25. – 2.8.2009.
We are trying to gradually encircle the entire republic, this year's stage follows on from last year's and will lead from the Beskydy Mountains through the Jeseníky Mountains.

We decided to try something new: so far we have transported ourselves and the equipment on bicycles by our own forces, this year an accompanying vehicle will also be part of it! We promise more flexibility and more time for activity on the bands (and perhaps a slightly stronger signal when powered from the on-board battery) under the special brand OL7CX.
The preferred frequencies will be 3565 kHz CW, 3740 kHz SSB and 145.55 MHz FM (expedition communication channel), however the plan is to broadcast from 160 m to 70 cm with an emphasis on activity from SOTA stations.
The planned route is approximately Ostravice, Hradec nad Moravicí, Roudno, Nové Heřmínovy, Osoblaha, Zlaté Hory. We welcome as much activity as possible from OK stations - in recent years, interest has moved from 2 m to 80 m. We would also like to visit colleagues on the route if possible (those who are not afraid to get on a bike can join, for example just for a few kilometers according to their own strength and time) - we like to remember several visits to various radio clubs in the past.
For the participants
