Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Naohiro Oishi, call me Nao. In Japan, I broadcast under the call sign JA2VQP.
I live in Wewak, in East Sepik Province, which is located on the north coast of the main island Papua New Guinea .

I am a JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency, Japanese ODA) volunteer. I teach mathematics and IT at the Faculty of Saint Benedict at the University of the Word of God. As P29NO, I have been active since February 15, 2013, operating CW, SSB, RTTY, PSK, AM and FM. If you need another type of operation, send me an email. I can work from 1.8 MHz to 430 MHz. I have no possibility to broadcast on 160 m, I have an unsuitable antenna. I only use one long wire so my signal can be quite weak. QSL send me to my QSL manager EA5GL. Please do not send QSLs to my address in Papua New Guinea. On average, I have power outages once a day. Sometimes it takes a few minutes, sometimes a whole day. If I stop suddenly, wait a few minutes. If my signal doesn't reappear, there's no point in calling me any further.
The internet connection conditions are also so bad that I can't update the data regularly and I can't answer your email quickly. I am available at LoTW a eQSL. I look forward to contacting you on any band with various types of traffic.
