In recent months, amateurs have witnessed the developed activity of the members of the SARA Old-Timers Club, who, under the club call sign OM9OT, make connections for diploma of NATIONAL PARKS SR, (but not only for this diploma), from various districts of the Slovak Republic.
From 17.11.2007 to today 5.1.2008, they made about 3,600 connections from 25 different Slovak districts, mostly with Slovak, Moravian and Czech radio amateurs. The club station OM9OT usually broadcasts in the SSB segment in the 80 m band, but also telegraphically on 40 and 80 m, a smaller number of connections were made on higher bands and in the 2 m band. Some eastern and northern districts will have to be activated in an expeditionary manner so that the OTC contributes to the acquisition of Slovak diplomas for all interested parties.
We thank for the activity all the members of OTC SARA who worked under the club brand OM9OT, but also all Slovak amateurs who provide countless connections from various districts.
