The race takes place every third Saturday in October /15.10.2005/ from 05:00 to 06:30 UTC /07:00 - 08:30 local time/. The race is included in the OK Cup rating - don't forget that.
Band: 80 m – CW /3520–3560 kHz/ and SSB /3700–3760 kHz/.
Categories: MIX, CW, SWL.
Kód: RS alebo RST + any two-digit number that must not change during the race. Station OK1OFM will transmit a special code (three characters).

Scoring:
-
za CW QSO 2 points,
-
for SSB QSO 1 point.
One CW connection and one SSB connection can be established with each station. The connection with the station OK1OFM - the organizer - is evaluated twice.
Listeners only count each station once on CW and once on SSB. Any number of times can be specified as a counter station. There are no multipliers, the overall result is a simple sum of points for connections. In case of equality of points, the greater number of points in the first 30 or 60 minutes.
Send the diaries by October 31, 2005 to the address:
OK1DRQ Pavel POK, Sokolovská 59, 323 12 Pilsen.
Of course, it is possible to use PR via OK0PPL or e-mail: ok1drq@quick.cz (it is best to send the diary in electronic form - any text file will do. However, a paper diary is many times better than none).

The station with the most points (be careful - it can also be a listener who does not have a broadcasting license and states this in the affidavit) will receive the main prize - a cup. Additional prizes will be awarded to the drawn participants of the race who send the diary for evaluation. The winner of each category receives a diploma in color.
This year, unfortunately, the Regional Office of the Plzeň Region is not participating financially - it "dedicated" all the funds to the World Tourism Olympics. Since last year's participation was very good, the winners of individual categories will receive material prizes - the long-time sponsor kept his word.
Special discounts on printing are available for all participants QSL počas celého roka (do ďalšieho ročníka):
-
100 CZK discount for single-color QSL,
-
150 CZK discount for two-color QSL,
-
250 CZK discount for full-color QSL.
I cordially invite everyone to participate. Not only will you compete nicely, but you can also win something, even if you are not among the winners. It is still true that not only the winner wins in the Pilsen Cup.
Notes:
-
Of course, licensed radio amateurs can also compete in the audience category and can win the SWL category, but they cannot become the absolute winners of the cup.
-
In the race, connections are valid with all stations (not only OK and OM) that will participate in the race.
-
If nothing unforeseen happens, the race will be evaluated by 15/11/2004 and by Christmas the winners and drawn participants will have their prizes at home, as in previous years.
-
With your abundant participation, you will help to keep the sponsors, which this year are again Tláciareň Bílý slon Plzeň, Mogul OK Plzeň and, after a break of several years, Plzenský Prazdroj (with last year's participation you greatly deserved it and I hope you will show this year too that it was not a coincidence).
For the radio club OK1OFM
