These propositions are valid from January 1, 2011 for Winter QRP race to VHF. ČAV – Czech-Moravian amateur broadcasters announce the Winter QRP competition on VKV.
The winter QRP race at VKV is taking place always on the Sunday of the first full weekend in February. Competitors from all countries can take part in it, it is an international race.

Types of operation
CW and phone according to the permit conditions, while it is necessary to follow the recommendations of Region I IARU for various types of operation in individual sections of amateur radio bands.

Additional conditions
-
QTH is arbitrary, there can be electricity on the elevation.

The entire equipment of the station must be placed on an area with a maximum diameter of 500 meters. The position may not be changed during the race.

The use of a remote receiver or transmitter is not permitted.

At any given time, each station may only have one signal (signals for packet radio are not counted). Several stations can broadcast from the station according to their mutual agreement.

The maximum permitted power of the final stage or the sum of the performances of the final stages is 10 W.

Powering all devices (TCVR, rotator, PC, etc.) is possible only from chemical sources, which can only be recharged during the race from solar cells, a Peltier cell, or human-powered mechanical sources.

Antennas are allowed to be built first on the Friday before the race.

Connections EME, cross-band, or connections via terrestrial or satellite transmitters are not counted.

It is only possible to count on each band one valid connection s danou stanicou (opakované Connections musia byť v logu označené a majú hodnotu 0 bodov).

Use of DX cluster, chat, mobile phone, etc. is not limited.

Competition code
The contest code consists of: RS/RST, sequence number of the connection and WW locator.
The serial number on each band starts with a number 001. Non-competing stations must also transmit the complete code. Sequence number "000" is invalid.
Scoring

Every kilometer traveled between the two stations is counted 1 point (1 point for connections in the same locator).

The distance is calculated according to the IARU recommendation by the coefficient 111.2.

The locator is determined by the system WGS-84.

Connections with non-competing stations are valid if they transmit the entire competition code.
Evaluation
Each band is evaluated separately as well as the total sum of points from both bands. The station single a multi are evaluated together. The first three stations in each category will receive a diploma.

Competition diary
The diary can be sent electronically or in paper form.
Electronic diary:

It must be in the format EDI (REG1TEST).

Diaries in other formats will not be accepted.

The diary must be delivered to 10 days from the end of the race.
Invalid connections
Spojenie je neplatné, ak sa v logu nachádza:

any error in the received code (brand, report, connection number, locator),

connection time difference greater than 10 minutes versus UTC.

The station will not be rated

in case of violation of propositions or permit conditions,
-
in case of false data in the diary,
-
in unsportsmanlike conduct.
