Proposition of the Winter QRP race at VKV

These propositions are valid from 1. januára 2011 pre Zimný QRP závod na VKV. ČAV – českomoravskí amatéri vysielači vyhlasujú Zimný QRP závod na VKV.

Zimný QRP závod na VKV sa koná always on the Sunday of the first full weekend in February. Môžu sa ho zúčastniť pretekári zo všetkých štátov, ide o medzinárodný závod.

Competitive bands

• 432 MHz: 09.00 – 11.00 UTC

• 144 MHz: 11.00 - 13.00 UTC

Types of operation

CW and phone according to the permit conditions, while it is necessary to follow the recommendations of Region I IARU pre rôzne druhy prevádzky v jednotlivých úsekoch rádioamatérskych pásiem.

Additional conditions

• QTH is arbitrary, there can be electricity on the elevation.

• The entire equipment of the station must be placed on an area with a maximum diameter of 500 meters. The position may not be changed during the race.

• The use of a remote receiver or transmitter is not permitted.

• V danom okamihu smie mať každá stanica iba jeden signál (signals for packet radio are not counted). Several stations can broadcast from the station according to their mutual agreement.

• The maximum permitted power of the final stage or the sum of the performances of the final stages is 10 W.

• Napájanie všetkých zariadení (TCVR, rotátor, PC atď.) je možné only from chemical sources, ktoré môžu byť počas závodu dobíjané len zo solárnych článkov, Peltierovho článku alebo mechanických zdrojov poháňaných ľudskou silou.

• Antennas are allowed to be built first v piatok pred závodom.

• Connections EME, cross-band, ani Connections cez pozemné či družicové prevádzače sa nepočítajú.

• It is only possible to count on each band jedno platné spojenie s danou stanicou (opakované spojenia musia byť v logu označené a majú hodnotu 0 bodov).

• Use of DX cluster, chat, mobile phone, etc. is not limited.

Competition code

The contest code consists of: RS/RST, poradového čísla spojenia a WW lokátora.
The serial number on each band starts with a number 001. Kompletný kód musia odovzdávať aj nesúťažiace stanice. Poradové číslo „000“ je neplatné.

Scoring

• Every kilometer traveled between the two stations is counted 1 bod (za spojenia v tom istom lokátore 1 bod).

• The distance is calculated according to the IARU recommendation by the coefficient 111,2.

• The locator is determined by the system WGS-84.

• Connections with non-competing stations are valid if they transmit the entire competition code.

Evaluation

Each band is evaluated separately as well as the total sum of points from both bands. The station single a multi sa hodnotia spoločne. Prvé tri stanice v každej kategórii získajú diplom.

Competition diary

The diary can be sent electronically or in paper form.

Electronic diary:

• It must be in the format EDI (REG1TEST).

• Diaries in other formats will not be accepted.

Paper diary:

• Stačí čitateľná kópia logu s vyznačenými bodmi.

• It is also possible to send a high-quality scanned diary.

The diary must be delivered to 10 dní od skončenia závodu.

Invalid connections

Spojenie je neplatné, ak sa v logu nachádza:

• any error in the received code (brand, report, connection number, locator),

• connection time difference greater than 10 minút oproti UTC.

The station will not be rated

• in case of violation of propositions or permit conditions,

• in case of false data in the diary,

• in unsportsmanlike conduct.
