QO-100 Dx Club Sprint contest – 2026

QO-100 Dx Club Sprint contest patrí medzi obľúbené krátke satelitné preteky, ktoré dávajú rádioamatérom príležitosť pravidelne si zmerať sily v prevádzke cez úzkopásmový (NB) transpondér družice QO-100. V roku 2026 continues this series in the proven monthly format and offers a combination of different types of operation, simple rules and an interesting scoring system.

Základné informácie QO-100 Dx Club Sprint contest

Date of procedure:
Súťaž sa koná every 2nd Saturday of the month, vždy v čase
15:00 - 15:59 UTC (vrátane).

Goal of the competition:
Hlavným cieľom je podpora spojení cez NB transpondér QO-100, improving the operational capabilities of operators and active use of the 13 cm satellite band.

Operating modes during the year

Individual months are firmly assigned to a specific type of operation:

• January, May, September – SSB

• February, June, October – CW

• March, July, November – RTTY

• April, August, December – FT4

This system guarantees equal representation of voice, telegraph and digital traffic.

Permitted frequencies

Celá súťaž prebieha v segmente "mixed modes & special purposes" NB transpondéra:

• SSB a CW: .870 – .990

• RTTY: .870 – .900

• FT módy: .870 – .875

All participants are required to comply QO-100 bandplan a Operating Guidelines. Povolený je iba jeden signál naraz.
Pri FT4 je povolený len jeden stream – modes like F/H, SuperFox and similar nie sú dovolené.

• Single Operator – all operation and keeping of the diary is carried out by one person.

Scoring

Points for QSOs

• Each valid connection: 1 bod

• Connecting with a member QO-100 Dx Clubu: 10 bodov

A station can be counted during one sprint len raz. Duplicitné spojenia sú vyradené bez trestu.

Multipliers

• Počet jedinečných 4-digit locators (gridov)

• Number of unique DXCC entít

Výsledné skóre is calculated as:

Sum of QSO points × (number of grids + number of DXCC entities)

Example:
100 points × (20 grids + 10 DXCC) = 3 000 bodov

Data exchange

• SSB / CW / RTTY:
  RS(T), locator (XXYY) a členské číslo klubu (ak je stanica členom)

• FT4:
  RS and locator (XXYY)

Logs (Logs)

• Format: ADIF (.adi)

• Termín odoslania: by 23:59 UTC on the Monday after the contest

• Submission: via the official form

⚠️ Poznámka: Odoslaný log nie je automaticky uploaded to the QO-100 Dx Club database, even if the participant is a member of the club.

SWL a checklogy sa neprijímajú.
Po odoslaní logu no corrections or changes are allowed.

Mandatory ADIF fields

The diary must contain at least the following items:

• QSO_DATE

• TIME_ON

• STATION_CALLSIGN

• CALL

• FASHION

• SUBMODE (for FT4)

• BAND = 13CM

• SAT_NAME = QO-100

• PROP_MODE = SAT

• GRIDSQUARE (4 characters) or VUCC_GRIDS

• MY_GRIDSQUARE or MY_VUCC_GRIDS

• COMMENT – pre SSB/CW/RTTY s club membership number (iba čísla)

Evaluation and fair play

Vyhodnotenie zabezpečuje QO-100 Dx Club. Participants must comply with the rules of the competition and the principles of amateur radio ethics.

Za nešportové správanie (napr. dohadovanie spojení mimo rádia, prevádzka mimo bandplánu, nadmerná šírka signálu, manipulácia s logmi) hrozí disqualification and ban from participating in further sprints.

The QO-100 Dx Club decisions are konečné.
Participation in the competition means plný súhlas s pravidlami.

Results and awards

• Výsledky are posted on the QO-100 Dx Club website v piatok po každom sprinte.

• Annual awards:

  • Top 10 overall results

  • Top 5 in each operating mode
