Tono, OM3LU sent us his contribution, which is a response to the survey that is currently underway on our portal. We'd love it if you all respond with your thoughts on this poll in the comments after Tón's post. Thank you.
Because on the portal CQ .sk several times negatively mentioned the Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic, issuing permits and assigning OM call signs to radio amateurs, I decided to respond as a radio amateur who knows what he's all about.
Allocation of call signs

Do roku 1989 mal povoľovací úrad pre OM stanice k dispozícii len Prefix OK3 a v tomto prefixe boli zahrnuté všetky stanice okrem neobsluhovaných.
Issuing permits

According to my knowledge and also according to the feedback here on the portal, the issuing of permits by the TÚ SR is very fast and accurate. Ms. Ing. Kováčová also considers requests for selected brands. Finally, at meetings in the High Tatras, many OM radio amateurs expressed their satisfaction with the issuance of permits. And it's not just permissions, but the entire approach to the permission agenda. We really can't complain here, but we have to praise TÚ SR and Mrs. Ing. Kováčová to thank.
The whole problem of Mr. Vila Petrík Jr. he started when applying for a permit when he asked for the OM0WAO tag because his father has a permit OM3WAO (we went to school together, although not in the same grade). Mr. Petrík responded to the explanation that the regulation for issuing brands does not allow this by posting on the portal and writing a poll. Today he already has om0aaa permission and can broadcast.
The fact that Mr. Petrík received permission a few days later was caused by the unplanned absence of Mr. Ing. Kováčová at work because her mother died. Just to clarify. In other respects, your reactions in the comments complement me.
Mr. Petrík's written survey question 'Are you absolutely satisfied with the system by which call signs are assigned in OM?' she is unhappy and finds fault in unusual ways. Therefore, when you feel like it, answer the survey question as if the word 'absolutely' was not there, because in this case it is just a fiction and is meant to support the offended ego. Sri.
