Unfortunately, since October 27th we no longer have the opportunity to talk to Reihard Richter, DJ1KM. Reinhard was a well-known satellite enthusiast, the soul of the AO-40 project.
He became a radio amateur in 1950. Two years later, he obtained a license and appeared on the band after the station was completed. Between 1979 and 1995, he was active from the second QTH on the island of Tenerife as EA8SK. He was regularly on shortwave and satellites AO-10 and AO-13.
