Answer of the TÚ SR to the Petition

In a letter dated March 5, 2007, the Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic expressed its thanks for the Petition. Since the demands of the Petition are identical to the prepared changes in the generally binding legal regulation, he understands it as a supporting opinion in the gradual steps that the TÚ SR will take in the legislative area of ​​the amateur service.

The requested changes are:

• cancellation of knowledge of telegraphy during verification of special professional competence
• changing the current four operator classes to two classes, namely Extra and Novice

It therefore follows from the above that the demands of the Petition will be fully incorporated into the new PPs. The Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic also expressed its thanks for other suggestions (they were in the second envelope) with the fact that it will take them into account when creating subsequent amendments to the regulations for the amateur service.
