In the 4th stage itself, the best result was achieved by Jozef Marcincák (OM3-0001), who scored 8151 points and defended his position as the leader among Slovak and foreign participants. Marc Stinkens (ONL4638) finished in second place with 7210 points, and Johan Heus (NL9723) took bronze with 6396 points. Paul Lemeire (ONL3058), Hans Lambregts (NL7403) and Allen Willie (VO1001SWL) also made their way into the top six, confirming their stable form and long-term experience in listening operation.

Overall, the fourth stage was very balanced and brought several shifts in the running order. After four rounds, the Russian listener R3A-847 is leading with a total of 60,633 points, which, thanks to stable results, holds a significant lead. In second place is the Slovak representative OM3-0001 with a total of 40,498 points, while his performance in SLP4 was one of the best in the entire season. The third place belongs to ONL4638 with a total of 26,121 points, but there are only minimal differences between him and the other competitors, so the ranking may change significantly in the following stages.

Other active listeners such as VO1001SWL from Canada (24,895 points), ONL3058 from Belgium (21,483 points) and NL9723 from the Netherlands (16,797 points) also achieved interesting results. These participants prove that the SLP competition has an international character and attracts enthusiasts from all over the world who follow amateur radio operation with the same passion as active operators.

The SLP series consists of eight stages, in which points are added up gradually. Not only the number of received connections is decisive, but also the accuracy of the records and the ability to capture distant stations in difficult propagation conditions. After the fourth round, the competition enters its second half and we can expect an even more balanced fight for the front bars.

The competition confirms that even the listening side of radio amateurs has its own charm, tradition and international importance - and names such as OM3-0001 or R3A-847 are among the absolute best in this discipline today.
