    Result list of the 12th stage of VKV PA – October 2006 and year-long evaluation

    The twelfth, October stage of the Operational VKV/UKV asset of 2006 concluded the year-long struggle of radio amateurs in the 2005/2006 season. The competition once again confirmed the high level of technical readiness and operational discipline of the participants in all categories - from the most numerous SO–144 MHz, through SO–432 MHz a SO–1296 MHz, up to team performances in MO–144 MHz.

    In the main category SO–144 MHz won the championship in the October stage OM4ADR (JN98FX) with 134 connections and profit 11,109 points, thereby confirming his stable form in the overall rating of the season. He took the second place OM1DI (JN87UU) with the result 9,516 points and the third finished OM5LD (JN98AH) with 8,325 points. The high numbers of connections and multipliers showed that activity on the 144 MHz band was again very strong in October.

    On the band 432 MHz traditionally dominated OM5CM (JN98DF) with the result 1,778 points, followed by a pair OM2LD a OM5UM. These stations regularly appear at the top of the table and demonstrate high-quality technical equipment and experience in working on microwave bands.

    In the category SO–1296 MHz won again OM5CM, which also maintained its lead in the year-round ranking. This success underlines its long-term activity across several bands.

    Among multi-member teams in the category MO–144 MHz the collective did best in the October stage OM3KBB (JN98OM) with the result 2,821 points, before OM3RRC (JN99FC). The collective stations confirmed that teamwork and coordination can also bring excellent results.

    The October round thus concluded a successful year, which showed a growing interest in VHF operation, high-quality performance of operators and effective use of modern methods of reporting through the web interface. He prepared the evaluation Laco OM1ZL day October 22, 2006.
