The second stage of the SLP race 2012, which took place during the weekend of March 3-4, brought significant changes in the order and confirmed the growing activity of listeners within this year's series. After a successful start to the season, several well-known participants took part in the March round, but the surprising results indicated that the course of the competition will be very even this year.
The best result of the second stage was presented by W1-7897, which clearly dominated the competition with an impressive score of 50,666 points. This performance catapulted him to the top of the SLP Competition 2012 standings with a total of 55,055 points, significantly edging out his rivals. The second place in the stage was taken by R3A-847 with 18,662 points, which secured the second place in the overall ranking with 37,486 points. NL997 finished third with 12,168 points - an excellent result that, after joining the competition later, brought him a quick promotion to the first half of the table.

VO1-001-SWL (12,150 b), OM3-0001 (10,850 b) and NL6904 (7,375 b). All three maintained their stable form from the previous stage and gained valuable points for the overall ranking. ONL4638 followed with 5,395 points and NL9723 with 4,345 points, confirming reliable activity in the race. NL6828 (3,705 b) and NL9745 (2,555 b) also reached the top ten.
Other participants include F-11734, who scored 1,456 points, DE2HUG with 703 points, and NL13601, who closed the list with 153 points. Even these smaller results are an important contribution to the international overview of listener activity, as they document the interest in shortwave bands and the systematic work of SWL stations in different countries.
After two stages, W1-7897 leads the standings, followed by R3A-847 and OM3-0001. Close behind them is the group NL6828, VO1-001-SWL and NL6904.
