VKV operational assets - 2004, January - 3rd stage

January stage of the Operating Asset VHF brought, despite the winter conditions, a solid participation of Slovak radio amateurs. The third stage evaluation of 2004, prepared by Laco OM1ZL, includes five categories on the 144 MHz, 432 MHz and 1296 MHz bands.

In the SO-144 category, station OM3CQF from the JN88RT locator came out on top with a score of 6897 points, which made 110 connections with 19 multipliers. The second place was taken by OM4ADR (5728 points) with the same number QSO, but with a lower number of multipliers. OM2RL won bronze with 3038 points. In total, 15 active stations entered the ranking on 144 MHz Single.

The 432 MHz Single band was dominated by OM5CM (510 points), which defended its lead in the 1296 MHz competition with a score of 48 points. In the multi-operator categories, the best results were achieved by station OM3RAL at 144 MHz and OM3KEG at 432 MHz. The evaluation also took into account late reports from December 2003 from stations OM5LD, OM4AOJ and OM3RKW.
