After the fifth stage, where some of the leading participants were absent, they returned in full force in the sixth round. And it was a comeback in style. Vladimir R3A-847 left no one in doubt and absolutely dominated this round with a fantastic score of 73,500 points. However, it was not a one-sided march to victory. Close behind him was Jan NL997, who scored an equally great 62,530 points. These two operators completely outclassed the rest of the starting field and clearly showed that the fight for the overall championship will be exclusively between them.
Bill W1-7897 also made his big comeback, taking an excellent third place with 36,045 points after two zeros in the previous rounds. Jozef OM3-0001 was similarly successful, taking fourth place (27,830 points) after his absence in the fifth round. Great consistent form was confirmed by Jan NL6828 (20,498 points) who, like Johan NL9723 and Carla NL13601, scored in all six rounds so far. Marc ONL4638 and Helmut DE2HUG also contributed to the scoring in the sixth stage.
This massive point gain by Vladimir R3A-847 meant only one thing: a dramatic change at the head of the standings. After his break, Vladimir catapulted himself straight to the top and with a total of 205,066 points, he narrowly surpassed the previous leader. Jan NL997 is now second with 194,996 points. With a difference of only about 10,000 points, it is clear that the last two rounds will bring an extremely exciting fight.
