Selling prizes and evaluation

The organizers have prepared a ceremony that will continue the long-standing tradition of awarding the best operators, competitors and technicians. Awards will be given by representatives of the Czech Radio Club and invited guests.
Flea market
The popular "flea market" inevitably belongs to Holice. Those interested can find a wide range of older and modern technology, parts, literature and interesting collectibles here. The sale takes place in the parking lot at the cultural center. Vendor spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the space fills up quickly every year, so it's a good idea to arrive early.

Sales markets and exhibitions
A traditional sales exhibition will take place in the sports hall. Visitors will be able to view and purchase:
-
new equipment for KV and VKV,
-
components for SDR technique,
-
measuring technique,
-
antennas and accessories,
-
kits and parts.
The event will also include an exhibition of historical, military and interesting connecting equipment. This is a unique opportunity to compare the development of fasteners from older devices to modern digital solutions.
Transport and parking
The city of Holice provides organized parking near the cultural center and the sports hall. The parking areas will be marked and guided by the organizers. For visitors arriving by train or bus, there is a walking route from the city center that takes about 10 minutes.
Entrance fee
The entrance fee for Holice 2011 remains at a favorable level so that the event is accessible to the general public. Reduced entrance fees apply to youth and members of the Czech Radio Club upon presentation of a membership card.
Accompanying programs and presentations
A series of professional lectures and presentations focused on:
-
news in radio amateur technology,
-
experience from DX expeditions,
-
operation on HF/VHF and microwaves,
-
digital modes and SDR technologies,
-
satellite communication and the ARISS program.
The lectures are designed in such a way that both beginners and advanced operators can benefit from them. The discussion of individual blocks will allow visitors to get practical advice directly from experienced experts.
Meetings of clubs and teams
Holice traditionally serves as a meeting place for:
-
contestové tímy,
-
QRP enthusiasts,
-
VHF and microwave specialists,
-
members of OK and OM clubs,
-
designers of their own technology.
Informal conversations over refreshments or while looking at technology are often just as beneficial as the lectures themselves. Many visitors organize meetings in Holice that cannot be held elsewhere during the year.
Refreshments and services
A wide range of refreshments will be available in the event area - hot and cold food, drinks, fast food and seating in the restaurant areas. The organizers also ensure:
-
health service,
-
information point,
-
clean sanitary facilities,
-
basic service for exhibitors and sellers.
Atmosphere and tradition
Holice is the highlight of the season for many radio amateurs. A pleasant friendly atmosphere, a number of interesting exhibits, novelties and opportunities for personal meetings make this event an unmistakable event. Hundreds of participants from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and other European countries come here every year.
The event is also a place where new projects are started, where the first contacts for expeditions are made, or where technical issues are resolved that would be difficult for a radio amateur to check at home.
Conclusion
Holice 2011 will once again confirm that it is one of the most important meetings of radio amateurs in Central Europe. A wide range of programs, a lot of technology, vendors, lectures and especially a friendly community will ensure that every visitor takes away new knowledge, experiences and inspiration for further activities.
