It is the call sign on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic (TÚ SR). The operator is Roman, OM3TOW, press spokesman of the Slovak Technical University. QSL manažér je Patrik, OM3RP.
TÚ SR is the national regulator and pricing authority in the field of electronic communications. Radio amateurs know it mainly as an institution that issues them permits, checks compliance with the law and searches for sources of interference. These activities were carried out by its predecessors before the establishment of the Slovak Technical University. TÚ SR was established by law in 1993.
