TÚ SR is the national regulator and pricing authority in the field of electronic communications. Radio amateurs know it mainly as an institution that issues them permits, checks compliance with the law and searches for sources of interference. These activities were carried out by its predecessors before the establishment of the Slovak Technical University. TÚ SR was established by law in 1993.
