For more than six decades, the Christmas holidays have been an integral part of VHF súťaženiu. Date and time schedule
The Christmas race is traditionally held 26. decembra a je rozdelený do dvoch etáp:

1. etapa: 08:00 - 11:00 UTC

2. etapa: 12:00 - 15:00 UTC
This format allows operators to take advantage of different spreading conditions throughout the day while also providing space for a break between stages.
Band, traffic and categories
It competes exclusively in the band 145 MHz (2 m).
The operating modes are:

The competition categories are designed so that individuals and teams can find a place:

CHECK – control diaries (without assessment)
Note:
V roku 2022 band designation has been modified according to current recommendations IARU. Pôvodné označenie 144 MHz bolo nahradené súčasným 145 MHz.
Competition conditions
Pre ročník 2025 platia General conditions of VKV competitions, vydané Českým radioklubom, účinné od 1. 5. 2021. Organizátor zároveň sprístupňuje aj staršie verzie pravidiel (od roku 2019 a staršie), čo ocenia najmä dlhoroční účastníci.
