Conditions of the Easter race

These conditions are valid from January 1, 2003 for Easter race (hereinafter referred to as the main race) and Children's Easter race (hereinafter referred to as the children's race), announced Tanvald radio club.

The race takes place every day Easter Sunday.

Main race: from 07:00 to 13:00 UTC

Race of children: from 13:00 to 15:00 UTC

Connections with non-competing stations are also valid, which they must submit the entire contest code including serial number.

SO (Single Operator) – a station manned by a single operator without any assistance during the race.
MO (Multi Operator) – all other stations.
Types of operation can be used CW a fone according to permit conditions with compliance with recommendations IARU Region 1. All devices must be on an area with a maximum diameter 500 meters.

Basic rules

Use is permitted DX Clusteru and similar tools.

A station can be on one band at one time only one signal (except packet radio).

The performance must be in accordance with the permit conditions.

Connections via EME, cross-band and converters are not counted.

It is only possible to connect with the same station one valid connection per band. Repeated connections must be marked in the log (RPT, DUPE) with a value of 0 points.
Competition code
It consists of:
-
RS or RST
-
serial number of the connection (from 001 on each band)
-
WW-locator
Non-competing stations must also send the code. The number 000 is invalid.
Scoring

1 km = 1 point
-
Connection in the same WW-locator = 1 point
-
It is used for calculation coefficient 111.2 as recommended by the IARU.

Competition diaries
-
Can be sent electronically (EDI format REG1TEST) or in in printed form.

Deadline: within 10 days after the end of the race (the date of the postmark or e-mail is determined).

For more than 200 connections on one band, it must be attached alphabetical list of stations.

Evaluation and disqualification

The connection is invalid, if the error in the code or the difference in time is greater than 10 minutes.

For unsportsmanlike conduct or more than 10% incorrect distance calculations the station may be disqualified.

Prices
Main race:
-
Big Easter Egg: for a record total of points.
-
Little Easter Egg:
-
for 1.–3. place in the SO and MO categories (if at least 15 stations are evaluated),
-
for 1st place at min. 5 evaluated stations.

The best foreign station gets a small Easter egg.
Race of children:
-
A small Easter egg for 1.-3. place in absolute order.
-
Only operators younger than are rated 18 years old (date of birth required).
