category 9 a 10 valid from the moment they are released by the CTU.
SO (SINGLE ON) – a station manned by an individual without any outside assistance during the race. External assistance during the race means own operation of the transmitting and receiving equipment, antenna routing, logbook and station overview, with which it was worked, device operator for access to the PR network.
MO (MULTI OP) – other stations
Types of operation: CW and fone according to permit conditions, while it is necessary to follow the recommendations of the I. IARU Region for various types of operation in the frequency sections of amateur radio bands. All station equipment must be located on the area with the maximum diameter 500 meters. The station station must not be changed during the race.
5. Use of DX Cluster and so on. is not limited.
6. Each station may only have one signal on one band at any given time, taking signal(Y) necessary to connect to the packet radio network are not considered.
7. Multiple stations may broadcast from one station, it depends on the agreement between them.
8. The output of the final stage of the transmitter must be in accordance with the permit conditions, unless the conditions of the race stipulate otherwise.
9. EME connection, cross-band and ground or space converters do not count towards the races.
10. Only one valid connection can be counted with each station in the race on each competition zone, in which the complete competition code was handed over and confirmed by both stations. Repeated connections must be marked in the log (RPT, DUPE apod.) with a point value 0.
11. The competition code consists of RS or RST, connection serial number and WW-locator. The serial number of the connection must start with a number on each band 001. Full code including serial number of the connection from 001 non-competing stations also pass on, which do not want to be evaluated. Three zeros – 000 – they are not a proper serial number and the connection will be marked as invalid by the evaluator. Station, which do not want to be evaluated, does not have to send a diary!
12. Scoring: One point counts for each kilometer of bridging distance between the two stations. The point value of the connection in the competition diary must be given as an integer. A connection in the same WW-locator is counted 1 that. According to the recommendation of the I. IARU Region, a coefficient should be used 111,2 to convert degrees to kilometers, taking into account the curvature of the Earth. The WGS-84 system is used to determine the latitude and longitude of the competition site for the locator calculation (World geodetic system 1984).
13. The competition diary can be sent to the evaluator in electronic form, in written form, or both ways at the same time.
14. The electronic log must be in EDI format (REG1TEST), designated as a standard format for the evaluation of plants within Region I. IARU. The diary in another format will not be accepted and the station will not be evaluated in the race.
15. The printed diary must be separate for each competition zone. It is printed in A4 format in portrait format and consists of a cover and intermediate sheets.
The title page contains the following information:
-brand name of the competing station, as was used in the plant,
-own WW-locator transmitted at the plant,
-competition band and category,
-the name of the race and the year it was held,
-the name of the operator of the individual station or the name of the head operator of the club station and his call sign,
-at the club station of other operators' brands, who manned the station during the race,
-the name of the competitive QTH (elevations or hills),
-the altitude of the competitive QTH,
-the maximum transmitter power used in the race,
-antenna system used,
-number of valid connections,
-ODX [km] + DX station badge,
-total points,
-affidavit, that the permit and competition conditions were observed during the race, and that all the entries in the diary are true,
-date of filling in the competition diary,
-signature of the station operator, at the club stations of the leading operator or his representative,
-the total number of pages of the competition journal.
The running sheet of the competition diary contains the following data:
-own call sign, which was used in the plant,
-own WW-locator at least 1x on each page,
-competition zone,
-page number,
-date – 1x on the page and when changing,
-UTC time – minute for each connection, it is sufficient to indicate the hour at each change,
-counter station mark,
-sent report and sequence number for each connection,
-report, serial number of the connection and WW-locator received from the opposite station,
-point value of the connection (point value of connections not completed, unconfirmed or repeated 0),
-the sum of the points for the connection on one side of the running sheet.
The running sheet of the competition diary should contain at least 30 and maximum 40 line for connections evenly spaced across the page from top to bottom, and must not be in the form of so-called. “accordions” from a computer printer. The race diary must be stapled in the top left corner, i.e.. it must not be in the form of loose sheets.
16. If the station sends the diary in printed form and if it has more than 200 connection on one band, must attach an alphabetical list of stations to the diary, with whom she worked on this band. Each call sign must have its own connection number.
17. The race log must be sent to the evaluator's address no later than the tenth day after the race. It is determined by the date on the postmark or the date of dispatch generated by the electronic postal system.
18. If the station did not send the diary for evaluation in electronic form and with its declared result it ranks seventh in the category, the evaluator has the right to request that the diary be sent in electronic form. The provisions of point apply to the diary format 14. The diary must be delivered to the evaluator's address within 10 days of the request. Otherwise, this station may not be rated in the race.
19. The connection is invalid, if the station has a diary :
-any error in the received code ie. in the brand, report, the serial number of the connection or locator,
-if the connection time difference is greater than 10 minutes against the correct UTC time.
20. For a repeated and counted connection, the controlled station will be charged ten times the point value of the counted repeated connection.
21. The station will not be evaluated in the race:
-for non-compliance with competition or permit conditions,
-for more than 10 % miscalculated distances,
-for false or incorrect data entered in the competition diary,
-for unsportsmanlike behavior in the race.
22. Prices:
The main race:
1. Big easter egg
-for a record number of points, means the sum of all bands in which the station competed.
2. Little easter egg
-for the first three places in the SO and MO categories if the category is evaluated at least 15 stations,
-for first place if it is rated at least in the given category 5 stations.
3. The best foreign stations working outside OK territory will receive a small Easter egg.
Children race:
little easter egg – for the first three places in absolute order, after adding up the points from all bands in which the station competed. Only operators will be evaluated in this race, who do not reach the age of majority on the day of the race 18 let. The date of birth of the operators must be indicated, in the electronic journal to the field [It is necessary to enter NEWS in the electronic diary in the field].
23. The evaluator's decision is final.
