Each competitor determines the category himself on the first page of the diary!
Challenge to the race:
- for CW: CQ VRK
- for SSB: VRK challenge
Contest code:
- VRK members submit: RS/RST + VRK + membership number, for example: 59 VRK 023
- other stations: RS/RST + sequence number of the connection, for example: 599 001
Scoring:
Connection with any station is valid 1x during the race, each connection is counted 1 point.
Listeners (SWL):
They must record the broadcast report and can only count each station 1x per race.
SWL Scoring:
Listening to one station = 1 point.
Multipliers:
Connection (or wiretapping) with member VRK = 1 multiplier.
Result:
Total points for QSO (interceptions) × sum of multipliers.
Prices:
The first three stations in each category will win diploma from the VRK race.
It will be this year as well 10 participants drawn, who will receive commemorative cup (regardless of the result achieved).
Stations that were drawn in previous years will no longer be included in the draw.
Competition diaries send in text format with the calculated result until 31 March 2010.
The diary must contain:
- UTC time,
- brand,
- received and transmitted code,
- points counted
- overall result
- and an affidavit.
