Fifth round of the competition Short Listening Period contest (SLP), which took place over the weekend July 10-11, 2010, prinieslo ďalšie zaujímavé výsledky a potvrdilo stabilnú výkonnosť viacerých dlhoročných účastníkov. Letné obdobie sa zvyčajne vyznačuje kolísavými podmienkami na pásmach, no aj napriek tomu dokázali skúsení poslucháči dosiahnuť vysoké bodové zisky.

He became the unequivocal winner of the round Vladimir R3A-847, ktorý with výsledkom 64,400 points confirmed his excellent form and long-term dominance in this year' with series. In previous rounds, Vladimir has already demonstrated technical maturity and precision in the processing of logs several times - combined with stable results, this has earned him a significant lead in the overall ranking, where he is currently leading with a profit 173,069 points.

He finished second in the July round Bill W1-7897 with 26,660 points. Bill patrí medzi najaktívnejších zahraničných účastníkov SLP a jeho konzistentné výkony z predchádzajúcich mesiacov (napríklad 33 748 bodov v treťom kole či 36 312 v druhom) ho udržujú na overall second place with a respectable sum 110,033 points. Jeho pozorovania potvrdzujú, že pravidelná účasť a skúsenosť v podmienkach rôznych pásiem sú kľúčom k dlhodobému úspechu.

He won the third place in SLP5 Joseph OM3-0001, tradičný zástupca Slovenska, ktorý nazbieral 24,708 points. Tento výsledok mu pomohol upevniť third place overall with the sum 77,407 points. Jozef dlhodobo patrí medzi technicky veľmi precíznych účastníkov a jeho stabilné výkony dokazujú, že aj pri menšom počte aktívnych kôl možno udržať vysoké umiestnenie.

They occupied the other sections Jan NL6828 (13,455 points), Ad NL9745 (3,498 points) a Johan NL9723 (2,720 points). The Dutch entrants confirmed their traditionally strong presence in the SLP, with Jan moving up the overall standings with his consistent results in each round.

After the fifth round, the order at the top is relatively stable - Vladimir R3A-847 has built a safe lead, Bill W1-7897 holds the second place and Joseph OM3-0001 confirms the stable performance of Slovak listeners. The following rounds will decide whether the ranking will be maintained, or whether other experienced participants will join the fight for the top spots.
