The final, eighth stage of Short Listening Period (SLP) 2015, which took place during the weekend of October 24-25, offered extremely dynamic and balanced performances. Competitors fought not only for victory in the round itself, but also for the best possible result in the year-long classification, where the six best stages were counted. Therefore, some stations needed to score in full, while others could confirm their results in peace.
The best performance of the last round was Konstantin Vakhonin, RU4SS, who scored a brilliant 47,978 points. This result confirmed its long-term dominance - RU4SS once again showed that it is among the technically best prepared and most active SWL operators in Europe. Second place went to Henk Mulder, PA1555, with a very strong 31,047 points, which allowed him to jump significantly in the final table. NL6904 – Sjuk Veenstra finished third with a score of 30,551 points, just behind Henk.

Jozef Marcincak, OM3-0001, also did excellently, who scored 26,220 points in the 8th round and confirmed his stable performances throughout the year. Other successful participants were Kees Schout (NL294) who took 17,778 points and Marc Stinkens (ONL4638) with 16,731 points. Helmut Grund, DE2HUG also had a strong round with a result of 13,300 points, which significantly contributed to his total for the year.
Below in the table, stable participants appeared - for example US-Q-73 (9594 points), USF-007 (7410 points) or OK2-9329 (5940 points). Some stations participated only in some rounds, which affected their overall result, but they still performed well in the 8th round.
