Táto etapa SLP Competition 2018, ktorá sa konala 27. a 28. októbra, priniesla dramatické súboje medzi rádioamatérmi a SWL enthusiasts from several countries. Gennadiy Drozdov (UA3182SWL) topped the leaderboard with a score of 14,362 points, closely followed by Kees Schout (NL294) and Helmut Grund (DE2HUG). The complete results of the 8th stage provide a detailed overview of the point status of individual participants and contribute to the running order of the competition for the whole year. The overall scoreboard shows the strong performances of the regulars and highlights the evenness of the competition, where every point can decide the final placing.
