The Youth Field Day (PDM) is one of the traditional ones VHF a race organized by the Slovak Association of Radio Amateurs with the aim of supporting the interest of young operators in practical operation on the bands and teamwork in field conditions. The race takes place every year during the first weekend of June and is intended primarily for radio amateur circles, clubs and individuals under 18 years of age.
Pretek prebieha v pásmach 144 MHz a 432 MHz. Poľný deň mládeže nie je len súťažou v počte QSO, ale aj školou technickej zručnosti, plánovania a tímovej koordinácie. Účastníci často stavajú vlastné antény, používajú prenosné napájacie zdroje a riešia problémy priamo v teréne, čo im prináša cenné skúsenosti.
