Termín All Asian DX Contest 2026
All Asian DX Contest 2026 prebieha v dvoch samostatných termínoch podľa módu.
Bands
Competition takes place on amateur radio bands 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters.
Categories
The rules distinguish categories for all stations and categories exclusively for JA (Japanese) stations. For all stations, there are categories Single Operator on one band (High power and Low power), Single Operator on all bands (All Band, High and Low Power), Single Operator All Band 24 Hours (High and Low Power), and Multi-Operator with one transmitter (Single TX, High and Low Power) or multiple transmitters (Multi TX, High and Low Power).
Exclusively for Japanese stations, categories Single Operator Junior (operator aged 19 or younger) and Single Operator Senior (operator aged 70 or older) are reserved.
| Category | Code |
|---|---|
| Single Operator Single band High Power | SO160HP – SO10HP |
| Single Operator Single Band Low Power | SO160LP – SO10LP |
| Single Operator All Band High Power | SOABHP |
| Single Operator All Band Low Power | SOABLP |
| Single Operator All Band 24 Hours HP/LP | SOABHP24 / SOABLP24 |
| Multi-Operator Single TX HP/LP | MSHP / MSLP |
| Multi-Operator Multi TX HP/LP | MMHP / MMLP |
| Single Operator Junior (only JA) | SOJR |
| Single Operator Senior (only JA) | SOSV |
The Single Operator All Band 24 Hours category counts only the first 24 hours of operating time; any continuous break of 60 minutes or longer without a logged QSO is considered inactivity and is not counted towards operating time. If the log shows more than 24 hours of operation, only the first 24 hours will be counted towards the score.
Allowed power
Low Power categories limit the total output power to a maximum of 100 W. High Power categories have no power limit beyond the maximum permitted level set by the national licensing authority issuing the operator's and/or station's license.
Call for connection (CQ)
V móde CW sa používa výzva „CQ AA“, vo fóne „CQ AA Contest“.
Exchange
Single operator station sends RS(T) report supplemented with operator's age. If the operator does not want to disclose their age, they can send '01' instead. Example for an operator aged 25: phone 5925 (or 5901), CW 59925 (or 59901).
Multi operator stations send RS(T) report supplemented with the average age of operators at the start of the contest. If operators do not want to disclose their average age, they can send '01' instead. Example for operators aged 25 and 35: phone 5930 (or 5901), CW 59930 (or 59901).
Age-based exchange is one of the distinctive features of the All Asian DX Contest – it differentiates it from most other major international contests, where usually only a report or zone is sent.
Rules for all categories

Cross-band connections are not allowed, nor are inter-mode connections between CW and phone. Changing the operating location during the contest is not permitted. In the Single Operator and Multi-Operator Single TX categories, simultaneous transmission of two or more signals on any band, including different bands at the same time, is not allowed - the exception for Multi-Operator Single TX is the use of one additional transmitted signal if it is on a different band than the Run transmitter and the working station represents a new multiplier, according to the ten-minute rule (just like in CQ WW). Both Run and multiplier transmitters are governed by independent ten-minute rules - this means that when changing bands, the station must remain on the same band for at least ten minutes after the first QSO on that band. ako pri CQ WW).
Remote operation is allowed only if the physical location of all antennas, transmitters and receivers is in one place of the station; such a station must comply with all conditions of the station license, the operator's license and the rules of the race. The use of remote receivers outside the location of the station of transmitters, receivers and antennas is not allowed. Additional creation or correction of the log after the race is not permitted in any way, except for correcting typos, converting the log format, or converting a handwritten log to an electronic one. Filing logs in more than one category in the same race under the same call sign is not permitted, nor is one operator operating under several different call signs in the same race and filing a log for each.
Body for connections and multipliers

For Asian stations, the following scoring applies: connections between stations of the same entity are counted neither as a point nor as a multiplier. The station can be operated once on each band; a duplicate connection to the same station on the same band does not count as a point. On the 160m band, 3 points are counted for Asian QSOs and 9 points for non-Asian QSOs. On the 80m and 10m bands, 2 points are counted for Asian QSOs and 6 points for non-Asian QSOs. On other bands, 1 point is counted for Asian QSOs and 3 points for non-Asian QSOs. The multiplier is the total number of different entities (according to the DXCC list) working on each band.
For non-Asian stations, points are counted only for connections with Asian stations (excluding auxiliary military radio stations of the USA in the Far East in Japan): 3 points on 160 m, 2 points on 80 m and 10 m, 1 point on other bands. The multiplier is the total number of different Asian prefixes (according to WPX Contest rules) worked on each band.
Stations JD1 on the Ogasawara Islands (Bonin and Volcano) belong to Asia, while station JD1 on Minami-tori Shima (Marcus) belongs to Oceania. When operating Maritime mobile at sea, only connections with Asian stations are counted; these results will be published but will not be included in the ranking; points for these connections are counted the same as connections between Asian stations, but are not counted as a multiplier.

Calculation of the final score
For All Band categories, the score is calculated as the sum of total points for QSO on each band, multiplied by the sum of multipliers on each band. For Single Band categories, the score is calculated as the total points for QSO on the given band, multiplied by the multipliers on the given band.
Zaslanie denníka All Asian DX Contest

The deadline for submitting the log to JARL is no later than 10 days after the end of the contest: for the CW part on July 1, 2026, for the phone part on September 16, 2026. The date and time must be indicated in the log in UTC. For multi-operator stations, it is necessary to provide the call signs of all operators in the OPERATORS field (Cabrillo format); for the Multi-Operator Single TX category, the log must indicate which transmitter made the connection.
Prizes and plaques
The highest scoring station on each continent and in each category will receive an electronic certificate (with the exception of the Japanese Junior and Senior categories). Plaques will be awarded to the highest scorers across all single-operator categories, separately for Asian and non-Asian stations. Electronic certificates are awarded according to the number of participants in a given entity (CQ zones USA 3, 4 and 5 in the United States) in a given category: with 10 or fewer participants, the first place prize, with 11 to 20 participants, the first and second place prizes, with 21 to 30 participants, the first three place prizes, with 31 or more participants, the first five place prizes.
In addition, for Japanese stations, electronic certificates are awarded to the highest scoring station in each Japanese call area in each category, as well as generation certificates (Generation Overlay) for the top three scoring stations in each age group (under 19, 20–39, 40–59, 60–79, 80 and over) that used age as the exchange.
Disqualification
Results
Results will be published on JARL website.
