Víťazom SLP contest-u 2006 sa stal Vladimir Ignatov (R3A-847), ktorý v ôsmej etape získal impozantných 109 254 bodov a celkovým súčtom 238 997 bodov upevnil svoju dominantnú pozíciu na čele súťaže. Druhé miesto obsadil Jan Mandos (NL997) s 75 702 bodmi za ôsmu etapu a celkovým skóre 221 223 bodov, čím potvrdil svoju stabilnú výkonnosť počas celého roka. Na treťom mieste sa umiestnil Jozef Marcincák (OM3-0001) s bodovým ziskom 50 575 bodov a celkovým súčtom 133 863 bodov, čím si udržal významnú pozíciu medzi lídrami.
Other places went to experienced operators from Western Europe, including Goss Helmus (NL13181) and Paul Lemeiro (ONL3058), whose performances confirmed that even regular and systematic activity can bring stable results. In addition to them, Richard Frank (DH2URF-SWL), Hans Lambregts (NL7403), Marc Stinkens (ONL4638) and Johan Heus (NL9723), who completed the final image of the competition with their connections and point gains.
