Invitation to the 2010 Holický cup competition

Deadline: April 24, 2010
Time: from 06:00 to 08:00 CET
Band: 80 m in the sections 3520–3560 kHz and 3700–3770 kHz
Operation: CW and SSB.

challenge for SSB operation: "HOLLIC CUP CHALLENGE"

The race is intended only for individuals from OK and OM countries. If a club station participates, it must be operated by only one operator.

Categories:

• MIX (CW and SSB)
• CW
• SSB
• RP
• QRP (up to 5 W power)
• QRO (up to 150 W power)

Upload code:

RS or RST

• district emblem according to the territorial division valid until the end of 2001.

Scoring:

Every connection counts 1 point.
It is possible to work with the station only once during the race.

Multipliers:

District signs.

Results:

Total points for connections multiplied by the sum of the multipliers.
In the event of a tie, the number of connections in the first 20 (or 40 or 60) minutes decides.

Competition diary:

Format is preferred Cabrillo (príp. textové súbory s príponami *.txt, *.dat, *.log, *.cbr).
Diaries with extensions *.doc, *.xls (created in Word or Excel) are they do not accept.

The diary must be sent within 14 days after the race:

• by e-mail: hp(at)ok1khl.com
• packet radio: ok1khl@ok0phl.#boh.cze.eu
• by mail to the address: Radioklub OK1KHL Holice, Bratří Čapků 872, 534 01 Holice
  (only if the contestant has no other option – on a diskette, CD or USB key)
  Paper diaries are accepted only for inspection.

If at least three competing stations confirm a connection with a station that did not send a log, this connection is counted. If less than three, the connection is not counted. Connections with foreign stations are for checking only and they are not scored.

The diary must contain an affidavit:
"I declare that I have complied with the permit conditions and competition rules of the plant and that the given information is true."

Prizes for winners:

• The first ones 10 stations in each category will receive a diploma and a list of results.
• Station on 1st place in the category will receive a small "Holic Cup".
• Station with the highest number of points acquires a large traveling Holicky cup for a period of one year.
• Non-material prizes worth:
  • 1. place - 1500 CZK
  • 2. place – 1000 CZK
  • 3. place – 500 CZK
       If the station becomes the absolute winner three times in a row, gets the traveling cup into personal ownership.

The list of received journals and the result list will be published on www.ok1khl.com and in the amateur radio press.
