The International Steering Group for Kosovo (ISG) has announced the end of supervision over this territory, which should be a significant step towards gaining full sovereignty as a state. The ISG was founded by the UN Special Envoy for Kosovo, Martti Ahtisaari, and has 25 member states, including most EU countries.
